WA State Emergency Cardiac & Stroke System of Care

With the help of hospitals and EMS, the Emergency Cardiac and Stroke System (ECS System) aims to build regional systems for cardiac and stroke treatment. Data collected from participating hospitals throughout the state provides the basis to measure improvements in this system and the impact that these changes have on saving lives.

COAP, the Clinical Outcomes Assessment Program is working closely with the Department of Health and other stakeholders to provide an integrated system of measurement for the ECS System and will be producing a special report for Washington State each quarter. In this section, COAP provides information about the ECS System, which hospitals are participating in, and ECS resources available to hospitals.

In order to take advantage of the free memberships for CathPCI and AR-G, hospitals must register before September.
