Goals of Early Extubation Workshop
Demonstrate that early extubation is:
- Safe and patient-centered
- Feasible with appropriate protocols and teamwork
- Directed at throughput of patients with decreased LOS which will decrease cost
- Can happen in patients that have increased risk of prolonged intubation
